The 2026 MLB regular season begins in less than a month and the SF Giants are going to debut a new look on Saturdays. While they have traditionally worn their black jerseys on Saturdays at home, the same jersey they would wear in spring training until a change was made this year, it seems they will be a bit different this year.

On Reddit, a user leaked what the font and logo is supposed to look like for the new uniforms. They have a Gigantes theme which goes along with the "Fiesta Gigantes Saturdays" campaign that the Giants are promoting this year.

According to the team's website, "Every Saturday is a fiesta at Oracle Park. Celebrate Latino culture at Saturday home games this season, featuring genres from reggaeton to salsa, live entertainment, specialty concessions and a vibrant gameday vibe. Plus, a new, reimagined Gigantes jersey will be worn by the team on-field, honoring the Latino community that has shaped Giants baseball. Join us as we celebrate Fiesta Gigantes all season!"

It seems like a fun new initiative and it will give fans a new jersey to either adore or complain about. Both iterations of the team's City Connect uniforms were polarizing amongst the fanbase, but maybe this new look will be a bit more unifying. As of now, it does not seem like they have any purple on them which is a good start.

The Giants have worn "Gigantes" uniforms in the past, usually on Cinco de Mayo or other holidays to represent the Latino community. They have worn the black one that is featured in the cover image of this article, donned by Gregory Santos who is off to a good start in spring training, and they also used to wear a version that was basically their normal cream home jersey with "Gigantes" instead of "Giants" on the front.

Some fans may not really care about jersey or uniform changes which is more than fair, but we watch this team every single year so any change, big or small, is going to be noticed by the die-hards.

The Giants are entering a new era under manager Tony Vitello so it makes sense to have a new look. The team has plenty of Latino players and a lot of Latino fans so it is a cool initiative to pay homage to a demographic that is such a huge part of the Giants community.
