SF Giants broadcaster Duane Kuiper has endeared himself to Giants fans over the years with his wit, humor, and legendary calls and he had another classic moment this week in Arizona with his reaction to the music at Chase Field.
As Giants reliever Joey Lucchesi was getting ready to pitch in the middle of an inning, the music, which seemed like it would be playing at a Swedish dance festival or something of the sort, was blaring right until the Diamondbacks hitter stepped into the box.

Duane Kuiper had enough of the loud music at Chase Field
At one point Kuiper goes, "Alright. Turn it off," followed by a, "Thank you," when they obliged which earned a snicker from Hunter Pence, his broadcast partner for the Diamondbacks and Dodgers series.
It was classic Kuiper. A Wisconsin native who is not a fan of hot-dogging or showmanship, he is the last guy in the world who wants to hear techno music blaring in between at-bats. The music was grating even just on the social media clip so one can imagine it was much worse in the stadium which had 26,000 people in attendance.
Kuiper and his usual broadcast partner Mike Krukow, who unfortunately does not travel with the team anymore but still calls home games and certain road games remotely, have been as great as ever this year. They have hilarious moments almost every night and are still somehow able to make snoozefest games entertaining.
The two have been calling Giants games for so long that they feel like family to many Giants fans. They deserve enshrinement in Cooperstown someday and they deserve to go in together.
Recently, the Giants radio team was voted the best in baseball according to Awful Announcing. The TV broadcast side was voted 3rd in MLB earlier this year so it is no secret that Giants fans are fortunate enough to have some of the best announcers in baseball calling the games either over radio or on TV.
Kuiper is an absolute treasure and he is currently in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium where the music can be notoriously loud and annoying so perhaps we will get another great moment in which he is openly annoyed with the music.
