The SF Giants (10-3) take on the Colorado Rockies (10-5) on Monday for what feels like the 20th time between the two teams this spring. San Francisco has tabbed Logan Webb as he makes his third Cactus League start.

We are less than three weeks away from Webb taking the hill on Opening Day against the Cincinnati Reds. Webb has allowed just one earned run with five strikeouts and no walks in five innings of work this spring. The Giants will want him to get stretched out to three or four innings at this point in the Cactus League.

The Giants ace is coming off a strong season in which he tallied a 3.47 ERA in 33 outings, earning an NL All-Star nod and finishing in sixth place in the NL Cy Young voting. He looked like a potential top-5 finisher in that category, but he slowed down in the final month of the year.

It was still a very nice year for Webb, who led the NL in innings pitched (204.2) for the second year in a row. There are some question marks after him in the rotation, and the Giants will need him to assume a heavy workload again in 2025.

Who is hot for the SF Giants?

Non-roster invitee Christian Koss has not only impressed the coaching staff with his infield defense but he has produced at the plate, too. Koss reached base three times in Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Overall, he has recorded eight hits in 21 at-bats this spring.

Who are the SF Giants facing?

The Giants are facing off against veteran starter Germán Márquez. They have seen plenty of him over the years. He has a 4.42 ERA across nine seasons with the Rockies. Márquez will be making his third start of the spring and he has not given up a run yet.
