He gets it.

Well, it seems SF Giants fans aren't the only ones with a negative view of Los Angeles Dodgers fans. Chicago Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong not only disparaged Dodgers fans once, but then doubled down when asked to clarify his comments.

PCA, as he is known by Cubs fans, took a swipe at Dodgers fans by saying a lot of them go to the games just to take pictures and framed them as not being very committed. He juxtaposed that with Cubs fans who he said are there to actually watch the game and care about what's happening.

Then, he doubled down and said that Dodgers fans are wishy-washy and they come and go depending on whether the team is good or not. He went on to say the following about Dodgers fans: "All fans fight, but putting the Giants fan in a coma. That stuck with me as a kid. Just little things, sitting in the stands, just nasty stuff goes on."

He is of course referring to the awful incident back in 2011 when Bryan Stow, a Giants fan, was attacked by Dodgers fans in the Dodger Stadium parking lot. Stow's skull was fractured and he went into a coma. Thankfully Stow survived but he still deals with brain damage and walks with a cane as a result of the attack.

Obviously, the vast majority of Dodgers fans are not going to commit acts of violence like that, but it speaks volumes that Crow-Armstrong, a guy who grew up in southern California and went to Dodgers games as a kid, is willing to call out Dodgers fans for the stuff Giants fans have known for years.

It's no secret that the fans in LA are not the most committed. Even last year in the World Series there were viral pictures of empty seats at World Series games. Giants fans have always known about the mass exodus of Dodger blue in the stands around the seventh inning to beat traffic and don't even start on the beach balls.

Unfortunately, the Giants have had to deal with an influx of Dodgers fans at Oracle Park in recent years as the Dodgers have created a behemoth of a team. It's disgusting to see a 60-40 split of orange and blue in the stands when the Dodgers come to San Francisco, but when you can print money and buy the best players in baseball that is going to inspire fans to come out in droves.

At least PCA is calling these things out so they get some national exposure and it's not just Giants fans pointing it out.
