The SF Giants have been on a roll as of late and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the team. Perhaps it should come as no surprise that Giants legend Hunter Pence got excited enough to compose his own original song about the team.
Pence shared his song on social media and it can be viewed here. He goes full a capella with this performance and it is as Hunter Pence as it gets.
Hunter Pence shares amazing song about 2025 SF Giants
Here is a taste of some of the lyrics to the song:
"Willy with the lowww, Willy with the low-oh-hohh, Willy with the low low low low low taper fadeee."
"San Francisco, Willy with the low, 2025, stayin' alive, Rafi Devers, don't say never, Jung Hoo Lee, come and see me *chest thump* what do you say we got that Heliot Ramos."
It seems like Pence woke up, had some of the coffee he is famous for drinking, and was struck by inspiration which led him to drop this debut single. He has some impressive rhyme schemes in there so maybe with some instruments thrown in there this could become an anthem for Giants fans.
Everyone probably wants to know when Drew Gilbert will feature on a remix of the track but we can rest assured that the two spiritually similar right fielders will have some sort of collaboration in the near future.
Pence always brings the energy no matter what he is doing so it is great to see him giving the world this beautiful song free of charge. He is as amped as anyone else about what the Giants have been doing as of late as they make a push for the playoffs.
Plus, Pence was recently inducted into the Hall of Pretty Good which may be contributing to his good mood although he seems to be eternally in a good mood and optimistic which is part of why Giants fans love him so much.
Whether he is motivating young players or spitting bars, Pence is always going to give it his all. It is nice to see his debut foray into the music business and one can only hope this is the first of many songs to come. Maybe he could even collaborate with Ashkon on a future track.
