The SF Giants have looked good in spring training thus far. Even though these games do not count, it has been a positive sign that several of their key bats have been red-hot in Cactus League play. Let's take a look at who has been hottest.

Thankfully, a lot of the names who have been the hottest at the plate are guys who the Giants are going to need a fair amount of production from if they want to have success in 2025. Here are their stats as of Saturday morning.

Hottest SF Giants hitters in spring training thus far

Star third baseman Matt Chapman has been on a tear at the plate. In 23 at-bats he has hit four home runs and drive in 11 runs while sporting a .478 batting average. The Giants are going to need Chapman to be productive at both the plate and in the field this season so these are great early signs even though one could worry he is peaking a little too early.

Next to Chapman on the left side of the infield is going to be shortstop Willy Adames. The man signed to the richest contract in franchise history in the offseason is looking good in orange and black. In 30 at-bats he has 10 hits including one home run and 5 RBI. He is not a guy who is going to hit for average, but if he can hit the ball out of the ballpark and drive in runs he is going to be a big part of the lineup.

Jung Hoo Lee has also impressed at the plate this spring. He has nine hits in 30 at-bats including two homers and five RBI. Coming off his injury from last year, it has been nice to see him out there looking healthy and playing free. A healthy and productive Jung Hoo Lee could make a huge difference for San Francisco in 2025.

Outfielder and designated hitter Jerar Encarnacion has hit well enough to earn a spot on the Opening Day roster. With 12 hits in 42 at-bats with plenty of loud contact, he could be an X-factor for the Giants in 2025.

Finally, outfielder Luis Matos has hit great with a .364 batting average including two home runs and 11 RBI. He is locked in a battle for the final outfield spot with Grant McCray, but as of right now Matos seems to have the edge.

Of course, these are all just spring training stats. They do not count for anything but they at least give an indication that several key Giants are swinging the bat well heading into the regular season.
