The SF Giants have been solid this season thanks in large part to their pitching staff. In particular, their bullpen has been phenomenal. Based off ERA, the Giants have three of the best relievers in all of MLB which should not be a huge shock.

The Giants have a team bullpen ERA of 2.63 this season which is the best in all of baseball. The next closest team is the Houston Astros with a collective bullpen ERA of 3.28 on the year.

SF Giants' strong bullpen powered by three relievers

The reason for San Francisco's low bullpen ERA is they have three relievers who are the top three relievers when it comes to lowest ERA amongst relief pitchers with at least 25 innings pitched so far this season.

Randy Rodríguez leads all of MLB with a ridiculous 0.79 ERA in 34 innings pitched. Left-hander Erik Miller has a 1.03 ERA in 26 and 1/3 innings pitched. Tyler Rogers has a 1.24 ERA in 36 and 1/3 innings pitched.

While Camilo Doval is not among the leaders when it comes to reliever ERA, he has still been largely outstanding with a 2.06 ERA in 35 innings pitched.

Rodríguez has been the most pleasant surprise of the bunch. While he was solid in his rookie campaign last season, he has truly evolved into one of the best-kept secrets in all of baseball.

Rogers has been one of the most consistent and reliable relievers since 2021. It seems like somehow he has gotten even better with time and has firmly established himself as one of the best eighth inning arms in all of baseball.

Miller has been very good in his second season despite the fact that he has had a very high walk rate. Somehow, he has gotten the job done and has been phenomenal at preventing opponents from scoring runs even if he has been issuing free passes.

It is easy to forget the fact that the Giants still have Ryan Walker in their bullpen. Just last season he was one of the most elite bullpen arms in the game but he has just not been the same in 2025. If he is able to recapture his 2024 form at some point, that will only make San Francisco's bullpen more dangerous.

We know the Giants have brought back Torture in a big way this season. They are playing a lot of tight contests that come down to the wire. If you are going to play those kinds of games, it certainly helps to have a strong bullpen and the Giants are fortunate to have three of the best relievers in the game powering their bullpen.
