The Giants do have quite a bit of talent in the rookie leagues. This includes Level, Arias, Santiago Camacho, and Argenis Cayama. Plus, top 2025 signing Josuar De Jesus González should headline the Dominican Summer League roster when that season opens.

Level was among the top Giants signings in the 2024 class, along with Yoendry Sanchez. He agreed to a $997,500 signing bonus out of Venezuela and turned in an impressive rookie season as a pro. In the Dominican Summer League (DSL), Level registered a .275/.393/.517 line with 10 home runs and 46 RBI in 215 plate appearances last summer.

That was more than enough to earn a promotion stateside this year. Giants general manager Zack Minasian highlighted the switch-hitting shortstop as a prospect fans will hear about in the coming years and labeled him as a personal favorite.

On the other hand, Rayner Arias will be returning to the ACL Giants for a second season. The Giants signed the outfield prospect to a massive $2.7 million signing bonus during the 2023 international free agency period. It remains one of the largest bonuses the Giants have handed out in that market.

Arias flashed plenty of promise during his rookie season in the DSL, but he has been slowed by wrist injuries in each of the past two years. The right-handed bat posted a .735 OPS with zero home runs and 16 RBI in 105 plate appearances for the ACL Giants last year.

Both Santiago Camacho and Argenis Cayama had promising rookie seasons in the DSL last summer as well. Camacho tallied a 1.056 OPS with two home runs and 22 RBI in 138 plate appearances.

Cayama split time between both DSL Giants teams, posting a 2.59 ERA with 29 strikeouts and nine walks in 24.1 innings. The young righty appeared during an Extended Spring Training game recently, recording four strikeouts in three innings of work.

Cayama has a mid-90's sinker that some armside run to it. He has a low-effort delivery and can maintain that velocity as the pitch count increases. He mixes in a gyro slider that has tight, two-plane movement and an occasional changeup with fading action.
