After falling from the top-10 for the first time in the 2022 MLB season, the SF Giants are once again a top team in baseball. At least according to MLB's weekly power rankings, as the team from the bay rose from No. 11 up to No. 7 in their latest update.

The SF Giants once again crack the top 10 in this weeks MLB Power Rankings

The Giants recently lost five straight games, and that's what saw them slip outside of the top-10, but after bouncing back to beat St. Louis and Colorado, the Giants have risen again, despite the latest series loss to the Cardinals.

San Francisco started the week with a sweep of the Colorado Rockies at home and nabbed the first win of the series against the Cardinals. However, the offense stalled on Saturday and the pitching struggled badly on Sunday that resulted in consecutive losses.

The Giants got some outstanding hitting this week, mainly from rookie Luis Gonzalez, but mainly from team hitting that saw everyone up and down the lineup contributing with power.

On the flip-side, the pitching staff put in some great efforts this week, with outstanding starts from Carlos Rodon and Logan Webb (despite not being at his best) leading the way. With that being said, Rodón's lastest start against the Cardinals was one of his worst as he yielded eight earned runs in 3.2 frames in a game that the Giants dropped by a score of 15-6.

The Giants will now take on Colorado once again, before back-to-back series against genuine contenders in the Padres and red-hot Mets, so there is a chance if San Francisco aren't at their best that next week will once again be a fall.

But for now, the rollercoaster of an MLB season rolls on, as the Giants look to get some consistency back into their game with Evan Longoria and Tommy La Stella returning to the team, because everyone knows they are capable of beating any team in baseball.

So what do you think? Did the Giants deserve their rise from No. 11 a week ago? Will the season continue to be up and down for the Giants? What do you see happening in the upcoming week?
