On Wednesday, MLB Pipeline published its High-A All-Star rosters. A pair of SF Giants prospects in Charlie Szykowny and Bo Davidson were among the players to be selected as All-Stars in the Northwest League.

Eugene Emeralds manager Jeremiah Knackstedt was also picked as an All-Star. Eugene's season came to an end earlier this after after losing to the Everett AquaSox in the Championship Series.
It was a promising year for a lot of Giants affiliates in the lower minors. Both Dominican Summer League affiliates were some of the best teams in that league. The Arizona Complex League Giants made it to the finals, but lost to the Los Angeles Angels' affiliate. Lastly, the San Jose Giants did not lose in the playoffs while taking home the California League title. The Giants hope that the winning percolates up through the minor league system.
So, it was a strong year for Eugene, even if they fell short of the championship. With a 49-17 record, they were by far the best team in the Northwest League in the second half of the year.
Eugene was able to accomplish this while experiencing a good bit of turnover that is common in the minors. Bo Davidson was among the best hitters in the league in the first half of the year. During his time with Eugene, he hit .309/.412/.507 (152 wRC+) with 10 home runs, 56 RBI, and 53 runs in 335 plate appearances with Eugene.
If the left-handed bat stuck around long enough to be a qualified hitter, he would have led the league in many meaningful offensive stats. However, he earned a promotion to Double- in July. The Eastern League is a tough environment for hitters, but he posted a respectable .713 OPS with eight home runs in 187 plate appearances.
On the other hand, Charlie Szykowny was one of the few constants in the Emeralds' lineup. He slashed .276/.339/.478 (120 wRC+) with 21 home runs, 85 RBI, and 74 runs in 549 plate appearances. He had the second-most home runs in the league.
The 25-year-old hitter went through a power surge midway through the year, and he maintained that pace for the remainder of the season. He will likely join Davidson to start next season with the Richmond Flying Squirrels.
