The SF Giants are set to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the final game of a three-game series on Sunday. It has been a close series thus far, but for some reason the final game of the first half is going to be on Roku.

The Giants announced this on social media prior to the game as, apparently, the game will be part of Roku's "MLB Sunday Leadoff" schedule.

For some reason, today's SF Giants vs. Dodgers game will be on Roku

This article gives some more info on how you will be able to watch today's game. If you have a Roku device it seems like it will be fairly easy to stream the game, but if you do not you can watch it through the Roku channel app. The game will also be available through MLB.TV if you have a subscription.

It is not clear right now who will call the game, but it seems as part of this Roku series they do try and get familiar voices for both teams in the booth to call the game so we will see what that looks like.

Yet, it is a travesty that we are not going to get the normal duo of Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper on the call. Those two guys make Giants baseball what it is so every time we are robbed of their voices and humor because of some stupid MLB decision it is frustrating to say the least. Giants fans were even treated to Barry Bonds in the broadcast booth yesterday, so needless to say there will probably be no fun surprises like that.

Nonetheless, who is calling the game will not matter to the guys on the field. The Giants will send their All-Star pitcher Robbie Ray to the mound to take on Yoshinobu Yamamoto, also an All-Star, of the Dodgers.

It figures to be a great matchup and should be an exciting finale to a series that has already been tight. The Giants took game one 8-7 and the Dodgers took game two 2-1. The Giants are trying to close the gap between them and the Dodgers in the NL West standings to four games with a win today.

It is incredibly annoying that fans will not be able to watch the game the way they usually do, but let's hope the Giants can at least get a win to make us all feel a little bit better. First pitch is at 1:05 PM PST.
