The Giants are off to a strong start. They have secured series victories in the first three series of the year, but will look for their first sweep of the year.

Jordan Hicks came into the season with a lofty goal of making 30 starts in 2025. Not only does he want to prove that he can make 30 starts this year, but he wants to show that he can stick as a starter for the remainder of his career.

The hard-throwing pitcher got off to a good start, recording six shutout innings with six strikeouts and two walks in a 7-2 win over the Houston Astros. It looked like he was able to maintain his velocity better, as his sinker velocity averaged 98 MPH during that outing.

Who is hot for the SF Giants?

Jung Hoo Lee is off to a hot start with the Giants. He added three more hits, including two doubles, with two runs scored and a stolen base in four at-bats during Saturday's 4-1 win over the Mariners. Overall, he has nine hits in 28 at-bats this season.

Who are the SF Giants facing?

The Giants will be facing off against young righty Bryan Woo. Woo is coming off of a strong 2024 campaign in which he posted a 2.89 ERA in 22 starts. He features a fastball-heavy pitch mix that includes a mid-90's four-seamer and sinker to go with a changeup, slider, and sweeper.
