The SF Giants completed an impressive series win against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, but in the process Heliot Ramos got so annoyed with a taunting Cubs fan that he nearly beaned him with a baseball.

The broadcast video can be viewed here and out of context, it seems really odd. Ramos catches a fly ball to end the 8th inning and as he runs in towards the dugout he abruptly pulls the ball out of his glove and acts as if he is about to throw it at a fan with all of his might.

However, the fan who prompted this mock throw posted his own videos of him mocking Ramos throughout the game which helps explain why Ramos decided to scare him a little bit. The fan's videos can be viewed here.

In the videos, you can hear the fan taunting Ramos for going 0-2 at the plate which earns him a sarcastic thumbs up from the left fielder. He taunted him again after he was 0-3 and then in the 8th as Ramos came in on the fly ball it took him closer to the left field stands. The fan could not help but say, "You're dropping that one too, buddy," referencing a ball that Ramos mishandled earlier in the game thanks to the gusty Chicago winds which led to the only run Chicago scored all game.

In response to the fan saying he would drop it, Ramos looks right at him and winds up as if he is about to deliver a one-hop seed to home plate except this ball's destination would have been right between the fan's eyeballs.

Of course, the fan cowers at the end of the video like a coward, bracing himself because he thought that Ramos really had lost his mind and was going to end his life.

It was just a classic case of a Wrigleyville bro having a little too much fun, and likely a little too much to drink, and Ramos couldn't help but have a little fun at his expense.

Cubs fans could taunt all they want because the Giants came into town and took two out of three games, including an epic rout on Tuesday which was fueled thanks to two Ramos doubles in the 11th inning, which means they are tied for the most wins in baseball. It is still early in the season, but these Giants are playing good baseball and are clearly a confident bunch right now.
