The SF Giants may have finished at 81-81 on the season in 2025 but, despite the mediocrity, the team had some pretty spectacular walk-off victories. Let's rank all of San Francisco's walk-off victories in 2025 from worst to best.
All of these walk-off wins can be watched here on the team's YouTube. Without further ado, let's rank all of these walk-off victories.
Ranking every SF Giants walk-off win from the 2025 season
#11: Patrick Bailey walk-off single vs. Rangers
This one was not all that impressive as it was a weak single down the first-base line that barely escaped the infield. Don't worry, Bailey will come back up a little bit later.
#10: Wilmer Flores walk-off single vs. Mariners
Flores may not be a Giant next season but he is on this list a lot. He hit a solid single against the Mariners on the Giants' first home-stand of the year. It is a little crazy that they swept a team that may be headed to the World Series.
#9: Wilmer Flores walk-off passed ball vs. Braves
Wilmer did not have to do much on this one as he simply had to look at a breaking ball in the dirt that allowed Tyler Fitzgerald to score from third.
#8: Jung Hoo Lee walk-off single vs. Cubs
Lee's first walk-off hit as a Giant scored Christian Koss from second base and completed a sweep of the Cubs in San Francisco.
#7: Matt Chapman home run vs. Braves
Chapman's homer against the Braves was the second straight game that the Giants walked off the Braves in that series and was the day before he hurt his hand which affected him for the rest of the season.
#6: Willy Adames walk-off single vs. Mariners
Willy Adames sent Giants fans home happy in the team's home opener and his first game in front of the San Francisco fans. It was a good first impression for the shortstop after signing a lucrative deal in the offseason.
#5: Wilmer Flores walk-off walk vs. A's
This one may be underrated but Wilmer's at-bat against Mason Miller, one of the filthiest pitchers in the game, with the score 0-0 and the bases loaded was incredible. Flores was either taking or fouling off fastballs that were clocking in at 102 or 103 miles per hour on the radar gun and he worked the count to 3-2 before drawing a walk to get the win. Oh yeah, and he did it coming off the bench. Probably the most impressive at-bat of the year.
#4: Heliot Ramos little league homer vs. Rangers
This one was just plain silly. Ramos hit a slow dribbler toward the third base side that was fielded by old friend Luke Jackson who proceeded to chuck it down the first base line. Ramos strolled into second before realizing he could make it to third and almost got himself thrown out but actually drew an errant throw down the third base line which allowed him to score. It was a Bad News Bears walk-off if there ever was one.
#3: Yastrzemski walk-off splash hit vs. Reds
There are few things better than a walk-off splash hit into McCovey Cove, and our old friend Mike Yastrzemski delivered just that against the Reds by turning on a fastball inside and ripping it into the water to send everyone home happy.
#2: Patrick Bailey walk-off grand slam vs. Dodgers
I told you Bailey would be on this list again. This grand slam against the Dodgers was incredible and was when Giants fans felt the team really had a chance at the playoffs. Unfortunately, the team tapered off after this grand slam but it was an awesome and historical moment nonetheless and was only topped by one other Bailey moment.
#1: Patrick Bailey walk-off inside-the-park home run vs. Phillies
We may never see something quite like this walk-off ever again. Down 3-1 with two runners on, Bailey blasted a ball into Triple's Alley that looked like it was going to clear the wall but instead ricocheted off the top of the wall and got away from the center fielder which allowed Bailey to score standing up for an incredibly unlikely walk-off inside-the-park homer. It was probably the coolest and most exciting moment of the year for the Giants.
So there you have it. All eleven walk-offs ranked. Even in a disappointing year there are fond memories and let's hope the Giants can provide some more exciting walk-offs in 2026.
