In 20 appearances, he has posted a 3.44 ERA with 36 strikeouts, 19 walks, and only one home run allowed across 36.2 innings. This includes a solid start against in his last time out where he held a good Milwaukee Brewers lineup to just two earned runs in five innings.

The bats have gone completely silent in recent games. However, Patrick Bailey looks to be putting together a quality finish to the year. He has recorded a hit in three out of the last four games. During this stretch, he has tallied six hits in 12 at-bats.

Who are the SF Giants facing?

The Giants are facing off against veteran hurler Martín Pérez. Pérez has registered a 4.46 ERA in 23 starts split between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Padres. He has pitched to a 2.66 ERA in four career starts against San Francisco.
