The power-hitting outfielder became a free agent for the first time last winter and the Giants front office hoped that the local ties could sway him to San Francisco. That did not happen as Judge signed a long-term deal to remain with the Yankees.

On the other hand, Webb is in the midst of another strong year. The veteran pitcher has a 2.74 ERA in 12 starts for the Giants. This will be his second time facing off against the Yankees. He yielded four earned runs in six innings in his only outing against New York.
