The SF Giants hope to get one win in the series against the division rival Los Angeles Dodgers. They will rely on staff ace Logan Webb to lead the way.

Webb had a pair of unusually rough outings but followed that up with a quality start against the Cincinnati Reds in his last out. He allowed just two earned runs on eight hits, two walks, and six strikeouts in a 4-2 loss. He held up his end of the bargain even if the lineup did not.

On the year, the right-handed hurler has a 3.38 ERA, 2.90 FIP, 1.38 WHIP, 7.1 K/9, and a 3.00 SO/W ratio in nine starts. This includes a solid 59.8 percent ground ball rate.

Who it hot?

Thairo Estrada has recorded a hit in four of his last five games. On the year, he has posted a .697 OPS with six home runs. These are not eye-popping numbers by any means, but Estrada is showing a modest uptick in his power numbers. He has a .181 ISO and a .426 slugging percentage on the year.

On a different note, the Giants welcomed back old friend Curt Casali according to the team's transaction log.

Originally, the Dodgers did not have a starter listed. However, Elieser Hernández will make the start for Los Angeles. He was added to the roster on Wednesday. The righty pitcher has a 5.04 ERA in parts of five seasons with the Miami Marlins.
