The SF Giants have dropped the first three games of the series against the Atlanta Braves and are in the midst of a four-game losing streak. They will now look to Logan Webb to get them back on the right foot.

The good news is that Webb is on the mound. The bad news is that the Giants are running out of games to make up ground in the Wild Card race. Perhaps, it is not the time to even be talking about the playoffs with how they have looked against the Braves.

Webb hit a rough patch in July, but he has looked more like an All-Star in recent starts. He has allowed just two earned runs in his last 21.2 innings pitched. Overall, he has posted a 3.32 ERA in 25 starts for San Francisco this season. He leads the NL with 157 innings pitched.

Who it hot?

I don't generally like going with the same player two days in a row, but it is just hard to ignore how well Tyler Fitzgerald has performed. After getting off to a disastrous start to Wednesday night's game, Fitzgerald led off for the Giants with a home run. In August, the rookie infielder has tallied 19 hits, including five home runs, in 56 at-bats.

Who are the SF Giants facing?

The Giants face off against veteran southpaw pitcher Max Fried. He is in the midst of another strong season, posting a 3.56 ERA in 20 starts for Atlanta. The eight-year veteran has tallied a 2.40 ERA in eight career appearances against San Francisco.
