3 SF Giants players who aren't as safe as they think ahead of MLB trade deadline

3. RP Tyler Rogers

Right-handed submariner Tyler Rogers has been an incredibly reliable and consistent reliever for the Giants since he debuted in 2019. He is really the rock of the team's bullpen but he may find himself pitching for another team pretty soon if the Giants decide to sell.

There has been a lot of talk about closer Camilo Doval being on the move given his struggles, but perhaps his rough 2024 will scare off potential buyers. Rogers is much more consistent and you know what you are getting with him. He has an ERA of 3.26 on the year and has appeared in more games than any other pitcher in baseball.

He is obviously not your typical flamethrower late-inning reliever. His fastball tops out at 84 or 85 mph. But his funky delivery, accuracy, and wicked slider and ability to get ground balls makes him an intriguing option for teams in need of bullpen help.

If a team gives the Giants an enticing offer for Rogers then he may be on his way out of the door even though he may seem like he is in a pretty safe position.

There are 3 players who may not be as safe as they think ahead of tomorrow's trade deadline.
