2. DH Jorge Soler

SF Giants slugger Jorge Soler has not been great in his first year with the Giants, but he has looked better as of late. He is currently slashing .240/.330/.419 with 12 home runs and 40 RBI.

When the Giants signed him to a 3-year deal in the offseason, I do not think anyone would have guessed that he would become a regular leadoff hitter for the team. But he has done a good job in the role and has proven to be a patient hitter, getting on base via walk 44 times.

However, it is because he has improved as of late that the Giants may decide to trade him. A contending team could definitely use a powerful bat like his and the Atlanta Braves would certainly welcome him back after he was a hero for them in the 2021 postseason.

Teams may not love the fact that Soler is a DH signed to a three year deal which may scare them away. But if the Giants decide to sell and a contending team is desperate enough for a power bat, then Soler could be on the move.
