San Jose faced off against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes last week, winning five of six games. They won the last three games by a combined 33 runs.

This included a 20-run effort on Sunday. Jean Carlos Sio played a big role in that game, as he added two hits with two RBI in five at-bats. Outfield prospect Dakota Jordan had a career game at the plate, collecting three hits, including a grand slam, with six RBI in five at-bats.

Sio was in the middle of the offense for much of the week. The left-handed bat tallied 11 hits, including three doubles and a home run, with seven RBI in 21 at-bats. That comes out to a 1.410 OPS against the Quakes.

Overall, Sio is slashing .284/.369/.378 (112 wRC+) with three home runs, 44 RBI, and 34 runs in 253 plate appearances this season. This includes an 11.1 percent walk rate, 13.0 percent strikeout rate, and .095 ISO.

On the other hand, Eugene faced off against the Everett AquaSox. Similar to San Jose, they won five of six games. They also had an offensive outburst on Sunday, pushing 19 runs across home plate. Outfield prospect Scott Bandura was among the top performers, recording three hits, including a triple and home run, with three RBI in five at-bats.

Bandura was on a tear for much of the week, as he tallied a multi-hit game in five of six games. Overall, he had 14 hits in 28 at-bats while scoring 11 runs against the AquaSox last week.

The 2025 campaign has been a strong one for the left-handed bat, as he has registered a .312/.405/.440 line (134 wRC+) with five home runs, 35 RBI, and 55 runs in 311 plate appearances. Bandura has also swiped 26 bags in 27 opportunities. His 134 wRC+ ranks ninth among qualified hitters in the Northwest League.
