SF Giants catcher Patrick Bailey is one of the best defensive backstops in baseball and he also rocks some of the best headbands in the game. Let's take a look at his headband collection and break down some of his go-to headbands.

Bailey is coming off two straight Gold Glove Award wins and even though he often struggles at the plate, he arguably had the two best offensive highlights for the Giants in 2025.

Breaking down SF Giants catcher Patrick Bailey's headbands

We have to start with the most iconic one. His "Washington Crossing the Delaware" headband is incredible and when you wear a headband with that much patriotism woven into its fibers, you know you have to back it up with your play.

Bailey did just that in 2025 because believe it or not, both his inside-the-park walk-off home run and his walk-off grand slam against the Los Angeles Dodgers both came while wearing his Washington headband.

Perhaps whenever he puts that one on he is able to channel the spirit of Washington as he led the Continental Army against those dreaded Redcoats.

Sticking with that patriotic theme, Bailey has also rocked a headband depicting a diced up snake which is a nod to the infamous "Join or Die" flag from the Revolutionary era calling on the colonies to unite against Great Britain.

He has also worn a camouflage headband to honor military service members and also has one that has some sort of strange symbol on it that does not seem to be connected to the Revolutionary War unless it is some sort of cryptic nod to freemasonry which it does not seem to be. But if we see him stick his hand inside his jersey then it may be proof.

All jokes aside, Bailey is not the only Giant to roll with the headband look over the years. Shortstop Brandon Crawford wore some great Giants-themed headbands and even Tim Lincecum opted for a headband in his later years with the Giants.

Bailey's headband-wearing has become such a part of his image that the Giants even had a youth headband giveaway inspired by him.

Bailey's offens may be questioned sometimes, but his patriotic fervor cannot be called into question. As long as he keeps delivering memorable moments with that George Washington headband he has to keep that one in his repertoire.

Bailey is certainly the best catcher in baseball, but if they gave away hardware for best headband then he would have to top that list as well.
