A San Francisco Giants prospect article and a Harry Potter reference? You better believe it.

The Minor League Baseball season begins on Thursday, so now seems like the perfect time for a quick rundown of where each of the San Francisco Giants top prospects will be playing to open the season.

Ahead is a rundown of where each of the team’s top 30 prospects—based on the latest rankings at MLB.com—are stationed to kick off the 2019 campaign.

Triple-A Sacramento River Cats

4. RHP Shaun Anderson
14. RHP Ray Black
17. IF Abiatal Avelino
21. C Aramis Garcia
22. RHP Sam Coonrod
23. RHP Tyler Beede

After emerging as the top pitching prospect in the organization last season, right-hander Shaun Anderson could be the first starter called upon when the rotation needs help. Ray Black made 26 appearances out of the MLB bullpen last season, but struggled to a 6.17 ERA.

Double-A Richmond Flying Squirrels

5. RHP Logan Webb
11. OF Chris Shaw
13. OF Heath Quinn
15. RHP Melvin Adon
20. LHP Garrett Williams
27. IF Ryan Howard
28. 2B Jalen Miller

Keep an eye on hard-throwing Melvin Adon. The 24-year-old posted a 2.92 ERA and struck out 21 batters in 12.1 innings working in a relief role in the Arizona Fall League. If the Giants commit to using him out of the bullpen, he could move quickly.

High-A San Jose Giants

1. C Joey Bart
2. OF Heliot Ramos
16. OF Sandro Fabian
24. RHP Camilo Doval
26. RHP Jose Marte

All eyes will be on San Jose to start the season with Joey Bart and Heliot Ramos both suiting up for the High-A squad. Reliever Camilo Doval has a 70-grade fastball and he recorded 11 saves while striking out 78 batters in 53 innings at Single-A last season.

Single-A Augusta GreenJackets

6. RHP Sean Hjelle
7. RHP Jake Wong
8. RHP Gregory Santos
18. RHP Blake Rivera
19. 3B Jacob Gonzalez
25. LHP Seth Corry

Towering 6’11” right-hander Sean Hjelle is one of the most promising arms in the system. With four average-or-better pitches and good command, he has a high floor and should develop into a back-of-the-rotation starter.

AZL Giants

10. OF Alexander Canario

DSL Giants

9. 3B Luis Toribio

Unassigned

3. OF Marco Luciano
12. OF Jairo Pomares
