The Giants will return to AT&T Park tonight for a three game series against the Padres. Matt Cain (1-5, 4.52 ERA) will make the start for the Giants at 7:15pm PT and Cuban right-hander Odrisamer Despaigne will make his debut tonight for the Padres after Andrew Cashner was scratched. Despaigne was 1-3 with a 6.03 ERA in the minors.
It looks like Joe Panik will be the everyday second baseman after yesterday’s performance for the foreseeable future. Ehire Adrianza is also out with a hamstring injury and it was just announced he was put on the DL.

Looks like the Giants have another injury on their hands with Ehire Adrianza.
Bochy said Ehire Adrianza is getting an MRI on right hamstring. Felt soreness a couple days ago. "He's day to day right now." #SFGiants

It looks like Angel Pagan won’t be headed to the DL.
#SFGiants' Pagan to take BP and shag fly balls again today, then will be re-evaluated. Bochy on potential DL trip: "As of now, no." #MLB

Pagan is on the field throwing and will take some BP. #SFGiants will evaluate his status after his workout.
