Player of the Day: San Jose Giants right-fielder Mac Williamson continued his tear Saturday night, going 4-5 with a double and 2 RBI in a 3-2 victory over Bakersfield.  Williamson is 15 for his last 29 with 3 HR’s, 12 RBI, and 5 doubles.

Fresno Grizzlies – AAA Pacific Coast League

Highlights/News: (L 2-1) Fresno starter Austin Fleet pitched well but Las Vegas pitched better to pick up the win.  Angel Pagan continued his rehab with the Grizzlies — hit the ball hard a couple times (1-4 on the night) and made some nice plays in the outfield.  Pagan remains on pace to rejoin the Giants September 1st.

Highlights/News: (W 3-0) After giving up his first earned runs of the season for Salem-Keizer in his last start, Pat Young came back out tonight and dominated Eugene.  Young gave up 1 hit in 6 innings as the Volcanoes halted a 5 game losing streak.
