Over his last 10 starts Flores has struck out 10 or more 4 times, culminating in tonight’s 15 K effort. Today’s strikeout total is the second most for a starting pitcher in a single minor league game in 2013.

Highlights/News: (W 16-11) Crazy game from High A tonight- Stockton exploded for 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th to take an 11-5 lead over the Giants but San Jose bounced right back with 5 of their own to make it 11-10 in the top-half of the 8th. Myles Schroder knocked in the tying run with a single in the top of the 9th sending the game to extra innings. San Jose pushed 5 across in the first-frame of extras to seal the victory in a wild one. All told, San Jose scored 13 runs in the final 4 innings. Right-fielder Mac Williamson hit his 22nd HR of the season for the Giants.
