Player of the Day: AA Richmond first baseman Angel Villalona went 3-6 with a HR, double, and 2 RBI in the Flying Squirrels doubleheader today.  The HR marks Villalona’s 21st of the season – 7 with Richmond and 14 with San Jose.  Guillermo Quiroz could have easily gotten Player of the Day again – he hit in the go-ahead runs (for the second night in a row) with a double in Fresno’s game against Reno – but tonight goes to the kid for variety’s sake.

Update: Angel Pagan went 2-4 with 2 runs and a triple today for the AZL Giants.  It was announced prior to the Giants game tonight that he will be joining the AAA Fresno Grizzlies Friday to continue his rehab.
