Fresno Grizzlies – AAA Pacific Coast League
Highlights/News: (L 9-1) Reno had 12 hits, including 4 solo homeruns and a 2-run shot en route to a shellacking of Fresno. SS Ehire Adrianza went 3-4 for the Grizzlies, raising his season average to .330, Adrianza is on the 40-man roster for San Francisco – it’ll be interesting to see if he gets a call-up when the rosters expand in a couple of weeks. On the flip side of that token, 40-man roster mainstay LHP Dan Runzler gave up 2 ER in 1 inning – not exactly making his case with a 6.06 ERA on the season.
At the Plate: Ehire Adrianza 3-4, 3B, BB
On the Mound: RHP Steve Edlefsen 1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 1 ER, HR; RHP Brett Bochy 2 IP, 1 H, 2 K, 0 BB (3.96 ERA in 2013)
