Baseball season is back.

Opening Day is a time for the baseball pundits and analysts to make their predictions by crunching the numbers and using sabermetrics. But one woman is providing another perspective.

She’s written for Major League Baseball magazines, ESPN.com, MLB.com and is a frequent guest on KNBR, 95.7 The Game, Sirius XM Radio, CBS Sports Radio, WFAN and Fox Sports Radio.

Her work has been featured in the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, Sports Illustrated, New York Post, Wall Street Journal and The Ultimate Sports Guide, among others.

Andrea brings over 25 years experience and is a certified Astrologer and graduate of Vicki Noble’s School of Healing Arts.

In the below audio interview, Mallis discusses what she sees in the season ahead for San Francisco Giants players Jeff Samardzija, Denard Span, Matt Cain. She also takes a look at the charts of former Giants Pablo Sandoval and Tim Lincecum.

Here are some highlights from Andrea on each player mentioned in the interview:

Tim Lincecum
– Versatile, adaptable Gemini and fan favorite will go with the flow and should land on his feet.
– With Saturn, opposing his Mercury in Gemini, delay doesn’t mean denial, is the Timmy mantra.
– Saturn can slow things down to a snail’s pace. Remember, he is pitching for his career, not just a showcase.

Pablo Sandoval
– Pride goeth before a fall. Leos love the spotlight and attention. Leos thrive on appreciation, and his forecast looks tumultuous. He must be yearning for the unconditional love of Giants fans, when a Boston fan – – recently listed an overweight Panda on Craig’s List. Ouch! The King of the Zodiac has fallen from his throne.

Matt Cain
– Good things come to those who wait. And wait.
– A horse is a horse, of course, of course (Mr. Ed reference.) If you can be patient and wait until the September stretch and October Even Year baseball, Jupiter, planet of good fortune will connect to his Sun and – — Mercury in Libra, ushering in a once every 12-year cycle of expansion, success and opportunity.

Jeff Samardzija
– Free spirited Aquarius. Bohemian, eccentric, unconventional. And remarked how high Bay Area rents are, immediately endearing him to Giants fans and foes alike. With Pluto, planet of power, connecting to his – – Mercury in Capricorn, it’s a powerhouse aspect, of intense focus and concentration. The resourceful Shark’s perception is sharpened, like an arrow to its target.

Denard Span
– Pisces is the sign of two fishes swimming in opposite directions; expect good days and days when judgment can be clouded, (Battle of the Bay errors) with Neptune transit in Pisces still in effect. Auspicious time spirituality to recharge and renew.
