Player of the Day: Co-Players of the Day today are Yusmeiro Petit and Guillermo Quiroz.  Petit went 6 innings and gave up 1 hit, no runs, struck out 8, and walked none, while Quiroz had a go-ahead pinch-hit 2 RBI single in the 8th that sealed the victory for Fresno tonight over Reno.

Fresno Grizzlies – AAA Pacific Coast League

Highlights/News: (W 3-1) This was a late one as Fresno and Reno got held up by a lightning storm passing through California Monday night.  Yusmeiro Petit went 6 innings and only gave up 1 hit, C Johnny Monell hit a solo shot (his 19th HR of the season), and Guillermo Quiroz drove in a pair en route to a victory over the Aces.  Closer Heath Hembree extended his franchise record for saves even further with his 30th.
