The San Francisco Giants are unlikely to contend in 2020, but they have a number of players who will be exciting to watch in a rebuilding year.

On the surface, there does not appear to be much reason for excitement surrounding the San Francisco Giants in 2020. Weaknesses abound on the roster, and the team does not look primed to play .500 ball, let alone compete for a playoff spot.

However, even during a rebuilding year, there is still excitement to be found.

They may not have a superstar talent who is a joy to watch win or lose, but they have a number of veterans who, thanks to their speed, hustle, shimmying, or panda-like frame, are still a joy to watch.

Then there are the younger players who provide hope for the future. The unknown that is their future makes them among the most intriguing players on the roster.

There are also the players who showed us they are fun to watch in 2019 who will try to build on that success and become staples on the Giants roster.

In the following slides, we are going to take a look at some of these players and what they bring to the table in terms of excitement value.
