A more dangerous Dodgers team in 2020

As if the Dodgers were not already annoying enough, the Mookie Betts trade is just another reminder that they have an embarrassment of riches and can seemingly do whatever they want to upgrade their roster.

I am old enough to remember another blockbuster trade the Dodgers made with the Red Sox back in 2012 when they acquired Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford, and Josh Beckett in an attempt to compete with the Giants for the division.

We all know it didn’t quite work out that year, though.

That said, this most recent trade will undoubtedly make the Dodgers even tougher for the Giants to beat in 2020.
