Giants Need No. 3: Middle infield depth

Mauricio Dubon and Brandon Crawford figure to be the starters up the middle at the beginning of 2020, but with Crawford on the decline and Dubon still unproven, it would not hurt to add some depth to the infield.

The team already has Donovan Solano as an insurance policy, but despite his super impressive 2019 season, the team cannot expect him to put up the same numbers he did last year.

There are no obvious prospects waiting in the wings, with Abiatal Avelino maybe passing for a backup if the situation necessitates it.

All the more reason to sign someone like Jedd Gyorko or Wilmer Flores to add some depth and versatility to the infield picture.
