Giants Need No. 2: Power hitting

It is no secret that the Giants are in the market for a power bat. Zaidi has made this much clear and the Giants are not alone in that pursuit.

Players like Marcell Ozuna and Nicholas Castellanos will be in high demand, and it will be tough for the Giants to sway them away from would-be contenders or hitter-friendly parks.

Perhaps someone like Corey Dickerson is a bit more in the realm of possibility. He would not be as pricey, but he still provides the team with some power and he may benefit from Triple’s Alley being reigned in.

As it stands, the lineup would need to rely heavily on Evan Longoria, Brandon Belt, and Mike Yastrzemski for most of their power.

Adding another power bat to the lineup would help take some of the burden off of those guys.
