Center Fielder: Angel Pagan

Stats: 2,471 PA, .281 BA, 103 OPS+, 179 XBH (31 HR), 205 RBI, 321 R, 5.7 WAR

A dynamic table-setter when he was healthy, Angel Pagan was the offensive catalyst for the 2012 team.

That season, he hit .288/.338/.440 with 38 doubles, 15 triples, and eight home runs while leading the team in steals (29) and runs scored (95).

He was re-signed to a four-year, $40 million deal on the heels of that performance and he remained productive when healthy, but he averaged just 107 games per season over the life of that deal.

Still, he was a key cog in the team’s 2012 title run, and he just edges out Andres Torres for the starting center field spot.
