2018 Stats: 60 G, 25 HLD, 4.17 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, 12 BB, 41 K, 54.0 IP

Lefty reliever Tony Watson is technically not a free agent just yet, as he has a $2.5 million player option for the 2020 season.

However, given his strong track record and the relatively thin market for late-inning arms, he’ll likely opt for the $500,000 buyout and try his luck in free agency.

His 4.81 FIP could give teams a reason for pause, but after racking up 132 appearances and 57 holds the past two seasons, his durability and late-game experience should be enough to generate a healthy market.

Something like a two-year, $10 million base contract seems reasonable for the 34-year-old, perhaps with some incentives for appearances.

The fractured wrist that ended his season prematurely should have no impact on his free agency.
