C Stephen Vogt

2018 Stats: 280 PA, .263/.314/.490, 24 2B, 10 HR, 40 RBI, 30 R

While he started the season at Triple-A as he continued to shake off the rust of a 2018 season that was lost to shoulder surgery, Stephen Vogt quickly emerged as a solid contributor in the backup catcher role.

The two-time All-Star hit .271/.330/.505 with eight home runs against right-handed pitching, and that offensive resurgence could be enough to land him an MLB contract this offseason after he was forced to settle for a minor league deal last winter.

At 34 years old, his earning power is somewhat limited, but it’s not out of the question to think he’s priced himself out of the market in San Francisco in a thin catching market.
