The starting rotation figures to be a focal point for the San Francisco Giants on the free-agent market this winter.

Get ready, San Francisco Giants fans. The MLB offseason is fast approaching.

While playoff-bound teams focus on the upcoming postseason, it’s time for teams like the Giants to start looking ahead to the offseason.

Upgrading the starting rotation figures to be the top priority of the offseason, especially if longtime ace Madison Bumgarner winds up signing elsewhere.

Luckily for the Giants, there is a wide range of starters set to hit the open market this winter. The team could look to bring in multiple starters or make a run at one big-name starter to anchor the staff while addressing other needs on the roster.

With all of that being said, ahead is a look at five free-agent starting pitchers that the San Francisco Giants should target this winter.

Team president Farhan Zaidi could go a lot of different direction.
