The month of September brings a wave of minor league talent to the majors as active rosters expand. Who will get the call for the San Francisco Giants?

With the San Francisco Giants season slowly circling the drain, the final month of the 2019 season will be all about looking ahead to the future.

Second baseman Mauricio Dubon made his Giants debut on Thursday, and plenty more young talent will arrive in a few days when the calendar flips to September.

An easy place to start when predicting potential call-ups for the final month is to look at who is already on the 40-man roster but not currently playing at the MLB level.

Those players can be promoted without a subsequent move being made, and in many cases, those are the guys that have been shuffling between Triple-A and the majors throughout the season to begin with.

With that in mind, ahead we’ve taken a quick look at five names to know that will likely be among the team’s September reinforcements.
