San Francisco Giants look to brew up a spoiler in Milwaukee

One Bad Brew…
The Giants marched into Colorado hoping to get their slumping offense turned around, but as it turns out the Rockies stomped all over them instead. While the starters did just enough to keep the Giants in the game, the Rockies attacked and attacked again, preying on an overused and tired bullpen. Quite frankly the Brewers are a better quickly team the Rockies, so this is an entirely different challenge.
Run support is the name of the game here, and although it seems like a broken record, it’s really a no-brainer. I think the Giants have every opportunity in this series to pick up a couple of wins. We’re displaying two of our workhorse starters against some of their low-end starters. This club has a nasty habit of playing down to terrible pitching, so that also need to be avoided if they plan to turn around this road trip.
The weekend series will be the last of this short road trip before they head home for about a week. They will need the starting pitching to continue to fire on all cylinders, and given the match-ups, two out of three should be more than attainable for the Orange and Black.
