When you think of previous players for the San Francisco Giants, you think back to some of the players you watched growing up.

We’re going to take a look at some of the best third basemen the San Francisco Giants have put at the hot-corner over the years. Whether you’re a fairly new fan, or you’ve been a fan for as long as you can remember, take a second and try to think of the best third basemen you’ve seen play for this team. For some of you that could be Pablo Sandoval, for some (including myself) it could be Pedro Feliz. But for some of you, you can go way back. This generation has been through lots of highs and lots of lows with this franchise. You ask them who they think is the best, and they’ll give you answers like Matt Williams, Bill Mueller and Darrell Evans.

A lot of young Giants fans, when asked about previous third basemen will answer “Pablo Sandoval” and then a long “uhhhh..” but that’s okay! Pablo was the heart of this team, the lovable “Panda” won three World Series Championships with this team and will always go down as a fan-favorite.  But we’re here to talk about the ones that helped shape this franchise into what it is today. And lets just get this out of the way now. Joaquin Arias is the greatest baseball player to ever live, and he should go as the Giants best third baseman in the history of the franchise. Okay all jokes aside, here are the Top-5 third basemen in San Francisco Giants history:
