San Francisco Giants: Top Ten Prospects for 2017

Prospect Number 8: Steven Duggar
To add to the sudden plethora of outfield prospects comes a very intriguing prospect in Steven Duggar. Duggar is just like Reynolds, but with a bigger arm. Seeing what Duggar can do at the AAA level will be fun. He projects as a leadoff hitter type as well, and gets on base at an extremely high clip. His arm strength all but makes him a lock as a Center Fielder in his future.
His speed is definitely his biggest asset which is a perfect fit for Center Field at AT&T. If he can learn to make consistent contact, he would be a sure-fire pro. I’d give him an MLB ETA of 2019. He still needs to work out a consistent and compact swing. In turn that will lead to more consistent contact (hopefully). Take a look at this running catch in center field this year:
