Hunter Pence had quite the odd year. He had a hamstring issue early, then came back way to early and put him out for a good while. Since he returned from injury he just didn’t look the same. I’ll chalk up a lot of the issues for him in the second half simply to the injury. But during the postseason, he looked lost in every AB.
Pence needs to get fully healthy in the offseason, and find his swing again. We all know he is perfectly fine as a fielder, he had no errors in 908.1 innings played in right field, including seven outfield assists. Pence just needs to get back to what he does at the plate and he should be on track for 2017.
