San Francisco Giants Draft: Possible First Two Picks Of 2016

Conclusion:
At this time, there aren’t too many immediate needs that the draft can cure. This is a draft for the Giants to look for an athlete and a surprise with there first two picks.
First a player like Sheldon Neuse who “can” play shortstop, but doesn’t “have to” or his value falls off the table. A player who the team has had success in drafting in the recent past. And with an arm that can at the very least provide late inning relief if his stuff is that good.
Then Banks, a player who projected to be drafted higher prior to an injury that should clear up well well before his first game with his new team.
Both players look like they have the right amount of experience to compliment their abilities. Their draft status would most likely be higher on both with another year of college.
Time to strike while the big league club has good depth, and get some players who will be able to be fast-tracked if they dominate early on.
