Pablo Sandoval contributed in some way to three world championships. And if he would have made the decision to stay with the club, his name might be here in a few seasons. But since he decided otherwise, Williams will likely hold this crown well into the future (that is until Matt Duffy catches fire and goes on a 6-year tear). For those that have been watching the team for only the last ten years or so, here are the numbers and how they compare to Sandoval. Home runs (Williams 247 – Sandoval 106) and RBI’s (Williams 732 – Sandoval 462). Williams was also a great defensive third baseman, winning three Gold Gloves and making four All-Star Appearances.
