Batting Champ: Joe Panik

Even with a guy like Buster Posey in the line-up, Panik seems to have a swing and calmness at the plate that will lead to a very high average. Hitting behind Denard Span (with is threat of running on the mind of the pitchers) and in front of Posey will allow for him to see a lot of good pitches. He is an excellent hit and run guy and generally puts the ball in play. He is also one who will take a walk, and should occasionally sacrifice a runner over when only a run is needed. This will also cut down on his official at-bats, raising his average. My prediction: .327 average placing 3rd in the NL with Posey also making the top ten.
