Aoki signed with the Seattle Mariners in the off-season with hopes of revitalizing his status as a quality on-base guy at the top of the order. He has emerged as the likely lead off hitter for the Mariners while playing left field. Aoki has hit .278 in 54 at bats this spring, and should score a lot of runs in a lineup that features Robinson Cano hitting behind him.
