Mike Broadway

With a high-90’s fastball, Mike Broadway impressed late last year by missing bats. His time in Sacramento was fantastic. He sported a 0.93 ERA in 40 games and struck out 64 while walking only 8.

He is 28, so his arm is one that the team will want to start utilizing soon. He profiles similarly to Hunter Strickland, but is a year older.

Broadway is one to watch either out of spring training, or the first one called up if they need help in the bullpen. If Bruce Bochy decides to carry 13 pitchers, it could be because of the value that a guy like Broadway brings to the team.
