The buttons were a badge of honor for many fans. Some would call them pins of child abuse for the parents who kept their kids out that late in those frigid temperatures. But of course, those people would be wrong. Anybody with a Croix De Candlestick is in a fraternity that is close-knit and should be proud they stuck it out on those cold summer nights.
