2012 MLB Draft

The Giants first round draft pick in Chris Stratton finished last year with both the Triple-AAA Sacramento Rivercats and Double-AA Richmond Flying Squirrels. It is a tad too early to be making any judgements now, but Rookie of the Year finalist Matt Duffy is looking more like a first round pick than any other of the Giants 2012 draft selections.

While top pick Carlos Correa showed just how good the 2012 draft truly was, San Francisco is not regretting their picks just yet.

Players Passed On:

RHP Marcus Stroman (1st Round–22nd)

OF Stephen Piscotty (1st Round supplemental–36th)

3B Joey Gallo (1st Round supplemental–39th)

RHP Lance McCullers Jr. (1st Round–41st)

3B Steven “Paco” Rodriguez (2nd Round–82nd)

RHP Jameis Winston (15th Round–486th)
